Having troubles with this step?
I don’t want to remove the tape yet, can I remove it after installing?
It's important to not to skip this step. You will need to remove the tape around the Sliding Arm and Bracket before attempting to install the shower.
I removed the tape, and the shower arm extended quickly. Did this damage my shower?
The shower is spring loaded to enable the sliding mechanism. Don't worry, although this may have been a bit startling, this has not damaged the Nebia Spa Shower 2.0 in any way.
The adhesive does not look very strong. Will this actually keep my shower on the wall?
The adhesive is not meant to hold the weight of the Nebia shower on your wall. The bracket adhesive is only designed to keep the shower from moving left or right when sliding the arm up and down.
The adhesive looks really thin, and I'm not sure this will stick to my shower wall.
The adhesive will stick best to a flat surface. Even if you have grouted tile, the adhesive will stick without an issue as long as it has enough time to cure.
